Every journey has to start somewhere. This is the beginning of a new experience for me. I'm on a steep learning curve, shall we say? Cyberspace is a whole new world and, although I've been 'stalking' quite a few blogs for some time, I've never had a go myself.
So, this is it. My own patch of cyberland. I don't have a blog plan as yet but I hope that it all starts to come together and make sense soon. There are so many possibilities of things to tell that it's difficult to know where to start.

Sunrise over Gran Canaria from Tenerife |
As the sun comes up on my new blog I hope that the days will be filled with interesting journeys and that I will meet fellow travellers along the way. If you have the time, why don't you drop by and join me for a while? I look forward to meeting you soon.
You are my first person I have "followed" as a blogger. Looking forward to reading your ramblings... and adding some poignant comments (usually in the form of terrible jokes)!
ReplyDeleteWeather wise, its been a beautiful (hot) five days in Wigan. However, its just started to rain this morning.
Doesn't Tempus Fugit? Tenerife sometimes feels like years ago and then sometimes feels like last week! I remember talking to Dad about the stunning flowers at the stables... are the pictures of the flowers from there? Or from out and about?
Quick joke about flowers...
A new business was opening and one of the owner's friends wanted to send him flowers for the occasion. The flowers arrived at the new business site and the owner read the card: "Rest in Peace."
The owner was very angry, to say the least, and called to complain."Sir, I'm really sorry for the mistake, and sorry you were offended," said the florist. "But even worse, somewhere there is a funeral taking place today, and they have flowers with a note saying, "Congratulations on your new location."
